This course is designed to equip mission team leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively provide member care in challenging cross-cultural contexts. Recognizing the dual role of leaders as both supervisors and support providers, the course emphasizes the importance of introspection, resilience, and spiritual grounding. Participants will explore what it means to be a “first responder” in their teams, dealing with both major crises and the cumulative stress of daily mission life. Through a combination of biblical principles, practical strategies, and peer support, this course aims to strengthen leaders’ ability to guide their teams with compassion, wisdom, and a deep sense of responsibility.
